Stop Smoking Now!!
July 2007 marks the end of smoking in public places in the uk. This signifies a major turning point, a shift in priorities for everyone, smokers and non smokers alike.
For most people commited to their habit and accustomed to being able to smoke wherever they want, this is likely to be a time of dread and resentment. As an ex smoker myself I know how it feels to be locked into the belief that you must have a cigarette. When denied the opportunity to smoke, cigarettes dominate your thoughts, nagging away at you until you can light up.
There is always part of you concerned with finding an opportunity to get away and have a cigarette. It is difficult to concentrate fully on anything at these times. Its rather like having a demanding, spoilt child, clinging to you, whining, pushing, insisting until it gets what it wants. For most people who smoke, this is typical, familiar behavior.
Given that 70% of people who smoke want to give up, the new ruling can be seen as positive. Here is an opportunity to review and rethink their habit and hopfully to stop smoking for good, permanently and not
only in public places.
But where do you start? How do you overcome the urges? For most smokers these obsticles seem insurmountable. They certainly were for me when I smoked. I smoked 25-40 cigarettes a day for over 30yrs.I believed I was unable to stop. I had accepted the possibility of dying the death of a smoker as something I had no control over.
Then I read that Clinical Hypnotherapy has 80% sucess rate for people who sincerely wanted to stop. This was better than any other method available.
I wanted to stop smoking and in one session I was free of cigarettes.
This was in 2001. After 33yrs of heavy smoking I have not wanted to go back to being a smoker. I see myself as completely and permanently free.
I am so inspired by what I was able to achieve that I now run my own Stop Smoking centre.
If you want to stop smoking I would welcome you here. The whole process is safe, painless and very effective.
